Initial Purchase and Delivery

Equipment start-up and commissioning visits

For all our systems, you have the option to order an on-site electrical commissioning and start-up visit. During this visit, our experienced service engineers will:

  • Verify correct mechanical and electrical installation of your new equipment.
  • Check and document all critical functions, including airflow, ozone extraction, and safety systems, using our extensive start-up checklist.
  • Perform a functional test of the system, including trial runs on your own material if production is ready.
  • Provide operator and maintenance training, ensuring your staff is confident in daily operation, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver a detailed service report documenting the installation, test results, and any recommendations.

Commissioning visits are booked directly with Vetaphone and normally completed in one day (depending on system size and configuration). All travel and related costs are included in the purchase of a start-up visit, so you have full transparency and no unexpected expenses. The goal is to secure a correct installation, avoid unexpected issues during start-up, and give you stable production from day one.

Integration support

When you purchase your Vetaphone system with a BUS or PLC interface, our engineers are ready to support your team with integration. This service is designed for your PLC specialists and focuses on helping them connect and control our equipment correctly from the start. Unlike many suppliers who only provide a simple I/O list, Vetaphone goes further. We deliver:

  • Integration manuals and field descriptions with every system.
  • Recommended HMI layouts and control logic guidelines based on industry best practice.
  • Remote support to guide your team through setup.
  • On-site support available during start-up or upgrades when you need hands-on assistance.

This ensures your engineers have the exact signals and feedback they need, saving time and avoiding costly trial-and-error. By leveraging our experience, you avoid costly troubleshooting, achieve faster integration.

Aftersales Support & Maintenance

Proactive aftercare and Preventive Maintenance visits
Regular checks are the best way to secure stable production and extend the lifetime of your equipment. That’s why we recommend scheduling preventive maintenance visits with our experienced service engineers either on request or as part of a service contract.
 
During a PM visit, our engineers will:
  • Perform a full inspection based on our service checklist
  • Provide a service report with recommended actions, helping you spot potential issues early.
  • Offer on-site operator and maintenance training, keeping your staff updated.
  • Advise on spare parts planning to ensure availability when needed.
The main benefits are clear: increased reliability, early detection of wear or failures, improved operator know-how, and reduced risk of costly breakdowns. Preventive maintenance visits can be booked individually or included in our Basic, Enhanced, or Premium Service Contracts, where you also benefit from predictable costs and spare parts discounts.
Worldwide service network and emergency support
When unexpected downtime occurs, every minute counts. That’s why Vetaphone offers a dedicated emergency hotline, giving you direct access to our service engineers whenever you need urgent assistance. We react fast, with first response times under three hours during working hours. Remote troubleshooting is often possible, and if needed, we can dispatch engineers on-site through our global hubs and certified partners. Each intervention is documented with a short repair report.

Downtime is not an option. That’s why our Parts Centres in Denmark (EU), Texas (US), and Bangkok (Thailand), along with strategic stock locations worldwide, are set up to get the parts you need, exactly when you need them – fast, wherever you are.
