Technical Sales Manager 

Are you a technical sales pro who loves being the go-to expert on complex customer projects? As Vetaphone’s Technical Sales Manager, you’ll be the key technical & commercial support behind our global sales team – partnering with Area Sales Managers and Agents to solve real production challenges where surface treatment performance impacts efficiency, quality and compliance. You’ll guide technically demanding projects from early customer dialogue and solution design through to quotation, negotiation and handover — with regular international travel to customers, OEM partners and key industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technically complex, project-based sales of corona and plasma treatment systems to OEMs & end customers
  • Act as technical sales lead in selected projects, in close cooperation with Area Sales Managers, agents & internal specialists
  • Analyse customer applications, production processes, and requirements to define optimal surface treatment solutions
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals that communicate value, performance & compliance
  • Support OEM customers with system integration, specification, and application know-how
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships based on trust, expertise, and results
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the sales organization & agent network
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs & competitive developments

Your profile:

  • Solid technical background, preferably within mechanical and/or electrical engineering
  • Proven experience with consultative, project-based B2B sales of technical systems or solutions
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
  • Structured and self-driven, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in an international, matrix-based organization
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel internationally approx. 50-70 days per year
