Vetaphone are pleased to offer an increased warranty period on our technology from the class-leading standard period of two years up to five full years to provide users with added peace of mind.
With 75 years of experience and knowledge in surface treatment there is no manufacturer better placed than Vetaphone to make this unique offer to our customers, whether OEM or end-user, and it is a clear indication of our confidence in the quality and reliable performance of our technology.
Explaining the new offer, Support & Spare Parts Manager, Anders Dueholm stated: “Our technology has always been cutting-edge with a proven track record of reliability in even the hardest working environments. Now, as a commitment to our customers we are offering to extend the standard warranty period from two years to five to provide the added peace of mind that comes from cost predictability and reduced downtime.”
The new scheme, which was launched in May 2026, allows customers to opt for extended cover up to 3 or 5 years from the date of the original machine purchase. It covers defects in materials and workmanship for the most critical components of the corona or plasma treatment system, including the generator and transformer, the sensors and switches, the machine frame, and the remote support that relates to these items.
“In today’s increasingly competitive production environments, it is important to take all steps possible to ensure reliability and consistent performance. The extended warranty is intended to reduce some of the unpredictable elements of everyday production and help limit downtime and material waste,” he added.
The extended warranty scheme applies worldwide and is based on the power of each unit on a sliding scale from 1kW up to 40kW, so all systems are covered, irrespective of whether you are printing, laminating, converting, or extruding. If a component fails during the warranty period, Vetaphone will replace it free of charge if onsite assistance is not required.
“Vetaphone sees this as another pioneering move in surface treatment and one that confirms its position as market leader. I am anticipating a heavy take-up in response to this offer as managers look for new ways to ease pressure on production costs,” he concluded.
Interestingly, one of our leading OEM customers has already taken up the offer as an insurance policy to support its own service agreement – a good third-party testament to its value.
